That’s why last year we undertook the most significant transformation in our firm’s history: the TIGER project.

What drives us forward is a simple ambition: to be the best partner for our clients and help them grow.

Our unique, uninterrupted 25-year growth – economic, personal, and in the scope and quality of our services – is anything but a given. Every year, we regularly evaluate how our firm operates. And following the example of global leaders, including the Big Four, we carry out a more extensive review every five to seven years. “Over time, we have expanded our range of services and transformed into a consulting firm offering comprehensive advisory solutions, often in collaboration with leading experts in fields from finance and technology to lobbying,” explained Jaroslav Havel, Managing Partner at HAVEL & PARTNERS.

But we want to keep getting better. That’s why, as part of our long-term strategy, we launched TIGER, a transformation project developed with consulting firm M.C.TRITON. It represents the most extensive internal change in HAVEL & PARTNERS’ history. We are adapting our structure to a new era of legal services, an era shaped by rapid technological progress, artificial intelligence, and growing demands for efficiency and client added value.

“We are streamlining our structure and focusing energy on key areas – from partnerships and performance to technology, motivation of people, and accelerating talent development,” said Jaroslav Havel.

TIGER, which we are implementing with HAVEL & PARTNERS, is exactly that kind of project. It redefines how we look at the legal business. It is about changing mindsets, having the courage to step out of the comfort zone, and injecting new energy into the firm,” added Radoslav Tesař, Partner at M.C.TRITON.

Strategy and added value

“Since we cover all areas of law and business–complemented by specialised advisory in tax, patent law, compliance, and asset management and protection, we are now focusing even more on enhancing quality and improving all these services.” Our goal with complex business and legal solutions is to maximize added value while continuing to automate routine tasks so we can use the freed-up capacity more effectively,” added Jaroslav Havel.

A strategic milestone in expanding our services was the launch of ONE FAMILY OFFICE, our dedicated family office, along with other group investments into new opportunities. In 2023, we established Cornerstone, a partners’ fund, into which partners jointly invested nearly half a billion Czech crowns. Over the next five years, we plan to increase its capital to one billion crowns. The fund supports innovative projects and joint investment opportunities with our clients, aiming to deliver long-term value, growth, and development not only for our group but for the entire community we work with.

The TIGER project, which sets the course for HAVEL & PARTNERS moving forward, is built on five pillars:

Efficiency, cost optimisation, and performance

We are focused on improving overall operational efficiency, setting performance benchmarks, and optimizing cost structures. Our goal is to double revenues and triple profits within seven years, while strategically allocating capital.

Technology, know-how, and artificial intelligence

We are accelerating the adoption of technological innovations and systematically developing AI applications across the firm. Sharing know-how and leveraging digital tools help us work faster, more accurately, and more innovatively.

Wits a long-term, stable client base, we continue to strengthen client focus, expand business opportunities, and drive growth across individual teams.

Developing and motivating people

We maintain a top-tier team. Our colleagues have excelled not only internally but also externally, earning recognition from LEGAL 500 and serving on bodies of the Czech Bar Association, where they contribute ideas for advancing the entire legal profession. We take pride in giving our people the space to shape societal issues and continue growing.

Expansion

Since 2024, we have been the first law firm from the CEE region with a direct presence in Frankfurt, Germany. Our family office, ONE FAMILY OFFICE, also operates in Dubai and has representation in London, Miami, and Silicon Valley. We are thinking strategically about further growth of the group – geographically, by sector, and by client base.

At the same time, we have launched an internal innovation program that gives everyone, regardless of position or seniority, the opportunity to help create new solutions and bring ideas to move our work forward. We embrace not only diversity of thought but also new talent from outside.

These five steps are transforming how we work, lead people, and create value for more than 4,000 clients.
